They operate in Indre (4/5). Fabienne Moulin: “I like to be everywhere”

Usually, Fabienne Moulin is not the resentful type. Many times moreover, this December 13, 2024, she repeated to us that she “loved people too much” so that we attribute such a character trait to him. But all the same, if she held the “little c**” who, three days before our interview, stole his Ford Fiesta in the Beaulieu district, the latter would undoubtedly have a bad time. “Why mine? It's broken everywhere! Well, you probably don't care, that's not the point, but still. »

“Not the pot that we put in a corner”

No, Fabienne, we don't care. And we are happy to listen to you. Especially when you tell us about your job, here, in the solidarity shop on avenue des Marins, where the Agir 36 association supports many people on the path to employment. “At first, I preferred the children’s section. I put the clothes on the right way, by size. What if it was boring? Oh no, not at all. And then I'm very lucky here: I arrive at 10 a.m. when the cleaning is finished! »

She's laughing, of course. Because don't think that Fabienne has a hair in her hand. This 57-year-old grandmother defines herself as a « hyperactive ». “I like to be everywhere. I am lively and extremely curious who likes contact with the customer, certainly not the vase that we put in a corner”, thunders the one who, at the age of 16, entered working life as a leisure center activity leader.

She then discovered the joys of early childhood and, several years later, after having held other positions (particularly in industry), decided to devote herself fully to it by becoming Atsem (1). THE « job of [sa] vie » which she occupied for fifteen years and which she has not yet been able to mourn. “I had no choice but to leave this profession. rembobine-t-elle. And now it's a bit like heartbreak. Every time I go back to school, I have a little pang in my heart. We don't forget and we live with it, because we have to move forward. »

“The second hand is not the dirty hand”

So move forward, and sit back for two years “galleys” during which the Berrichonne, looking for a job, does not languish. She followed training, obtained diplomas and, on October 21, found a fixed-term position until mid-February: that of saleswoman, which she currently holds, and which she really likes. “It’s enriching, we enjoy it, we get along well and our customers are exceptional. Besides, I would like to send a message. »

For the first time, our interlocutor drops her smile and insists. “I know I don’t really know how to do it, but I’m serious. For some time now, we have noticed a drop in donations within the Agir association. I say “help” and I’m counting on you to pass on the call: here, 90% of our products are new. The second hand is not the dirty hand. » The message got through.

to be continued

Each year, around three hundred people are supported on the path to employment by the Agir 36 integration association.

We went to meet these employees who have found a professional horizon and, for some, who have discovered a vocation within the various integration projects supported by the structure. Employees in the solidarity shop, in the laundry, in sorting textiles, in the library… they tell us about their life journey and their reintegration into a professional world that has long turned its back on them.
