The Briey hospital center closes its night emergencies from December 29 to January 1 from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. Users are invited to call their attending physician or to alert the 15th if “no solution can be found“.
The Briey Hospital Center has announced the reopening of its emergency department this Saturday, December 28 at 9 a.m. However, the establishment, still faced with “an acute medical difficulty“on the medical workforce, is forced to temporarily suspend its emergency activity during the nights of December 29, 30, 31, 2024 and January 1, 2025, between 7 p.m. and 9 a.m.
During this period, the Briey hospital specifies that the emergency department will nevertheless remain “accessible during the day, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.“.
The Briey Hospital Center, in collaboration with the Regional Health Agency (ARS) Grand Est, as well as the SAMU services 54, 57 and 55, has set up a specific organization to guarantee that no patient is left without care solution.
In this context, patients are reminded to contact “in priority“their attending physician and in the event of unavailability, to refer to the map of unscheduled care locations, available on the official website https://www.sante.fr. Finally, to call 15 before going to the EMERGENCIES “if no solution can be founde”.
The usual 24-hour emergency operation will be restored from Thursday January 2, 2025, from 9 a.m.
