The Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes (ADII) has unveiled its new program “AfriDou@ne”, an initiative which is part of its 2024-2028 Strategic Plan aimed at strengthening links between the customs administrations of African countries .
This program aims to share experiences and good practices in order to improve customs cooperation on the continent. Morocco, with its expertise in customs modernization, is committed to supporting its African partners by sharing its know-how in several areas such as the simplification of procedures, the digitalization of services and alignment with international standards. .
Through this program, the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes (ADII) is fully part of the vision of south-south cooperation carried by the Kingdom, which aspires to consolidate its relations with friendly countries, while expanding its network of partnerships across the continent.

Indeed, the launch of “AfriDou@ne” comes at a time when customs administrations play a central role in the success of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). By facilitating intra-African trade, this program therefore contributes to the continent’s ambition for economic integration, as provided for in the Pan-African agenda.
