Belgium will experience contrasting weather this weekend, between sunshine in the south, persistent grayness in the west and winter temperatures.
The southern half of the country will again be bathed in sunshine from the morning this Saturday, while clearings will develop during the day in the center of the country, after the dissipation of sometimes thick and freezing fog, forecasts the IRM. On the other hand, in the west of Flanders and in Hainaut, the gray weather will persist all day.
The maxima will vary between 0 and 2°C under the clouds, between 3 and 5°C in most other regions and will sometimes be above 5°C on the high plateaus of the Ardennes. The wind will be light from south to southeast or of variable direction.
Saturday evening, the sky will still be temporarily clear to slightly cloudy over the center and east of the country. During the night, low clouds will gradually extend from the west of the country towards other regions with sometimes a little drizzle and poor visibility, especially in the upper Ardennes. Minima will vary between -1 and -6°C south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow, and between -1 and +2°C in other regions. The wind will generally be light from south to southwest, in the western Ardennes.
On Sunday, a significant layer of low clouds will keep us gray with sometimes a little drizzle.
