In its 8th edition, the Agricultural Professional Training Trainee Forum, organized from December 23 to 26, 2024, closed on Thursday, December 26 at the Prince Sidi Mohamed Institute of Specialized Technicians in Agricultural Management and Marketing (IPSMGCA) in Mohammedia , under the chairmanship of the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mr. Ahmed El Bouari. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Department of Vocational Training, professionals, directors of education and training establishments and central and regional officials from the ministry.
This annual event, initiated by the Ministry, is part of the dynamic of communication and promotion of the agricultural professional training system. It constitutes one of the levers of human development to which the Generation Green strategy aspires.
In his speech, the Minister underlined the importance of this forum as a platform for promoting and promoting agricultural professional training. He recalled that the Generation Green strategy aims to train 140,000 graduates of agricultural professional training by 2030, with the aim of making competent and qualified human resources available to the job market, capable of meeting the needs of requirements of modernization of the agricultural sector and to actively contribute to the socio-economic development of our country.
The Minister visited the forum’s exhibition stands, dedicated to the presentation of the agricultural professional training system, professional opportunities and projects of young agricultural entrepreneurs, winners of the various establishments.
A prize giving ceremony for the winners of the various sporting and cultural competitions organized as part of the forum. These include football, basketball, cross country, chess, table tennis and pétanque. These activities help promote the development of the sports and cultural spirit of the trainees.
