It's the tradition in Calais every January 1st : swim in the sea! See you this Wednesday, January 1, 2025 for a frosty swim at 12:02 p.m.It is advisable to register and dress up.

In a swimsuit or in disguise, this Wednesday January 1, 2025, come and dive into the “Bain Décalais”.

Meet at the L'Alexandra café (1 Gaston Berthe dyke) from 11:02 a.m. for validation of pre-registration and registration for latecomers.

Between 11:02 a.m. and 12:02 p.m., a musical warm-up will take place at the Calais beach lookout, hosted by DJ l'Amoroso.

Don't forget your slippers/sliders to go into the water and your dry clothes to change into (but no changing room provided).

The event is organized by the Bain Décalais association.

Free event with graduation, onion soup and distribution of pins or stickers to each registered swimmer. Pre-registration on this link.
