Leisure time at ease at the table and on the track
More than 100 people, out of the 177 members of the association, gathered last Tuesday at the Espace Mitterrand for the traditional Christmas meal. Eight-seat tables were arranged all around the dance floor. After a fine meal served by the Bach establishments in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, it was time to do a little exercise. The Daniel Lelièvre group, a trio of musicians, was responsible for setting the mood throughout the afternoon. Between madison, waltz and tango, there was something for everyone. Around 5 p.m., the party lanterns went out.
In the association’s agenda: the general assembly followed by the galette des rois on January 21 in the Balène room, from 2 p.m. Stockfish on February 11 in St-Félix-de-Lunel (Aveyron), and from March 30 to April 3, travel to Spain (Cantabria). There are still places available even for those who are not part of the association. Deadline to register: December 31.
