These few words reflect our attachment to Roubaix and its inhabitants. If many challenges persist and if others emerge, we reaffirm our commitment to your side to support your aspirations, defend your rights and the interests of our city. We do this with conviction and without ever renouncing our values of integrity and solidarity.
Even in opposition and without resources, our role is essential to inspire constructive debate, present alternative solutions and to help our city grow in the diversity that characterizes it.
For more than 4 years, we have been offering another pathwith the good of all as its sole ambition.
2024 will leave the bitter taste of contempt for the most precarious and the forgetting of the most needy, as evidenced by the drastic reduction in the opening hours of the four neighborhood CCAS, despite our categorical opposition or the total absence of consultation around the renovation of Alma and Epeule. It is a fight that we will continue to wage, just as we will continue to fight to preserve our heritage, which is increasingly under threat.
2025 will once again bring our ambition for our city, so that it can finally meet the many challenges it continues to face. The task is immense, increasingly difficult given the deterioration of the economic, social and environmental context!
At the heart of our concerns, to name just a few: economic renewal and the revitalization of the city center; the ecological transition with all projects linked to improving the living environment, sustainable housing and soft mobility; the fight against all precariousness; cultural influence; just like education and youth (the largest age group in Roubaix is 5 to 9 years old).
And we are demanding it: we need the mobilization of local stakeholders, financial support from the State, the Hauts-de-France region and the MEL as well as citizen initiatives to co-construct an ambitious and sustainable project for Roubaix.
