Wave of emotion in Corsica
The facts aroused a lot of emotion in Corsica. “Aiacciu (Ajaccio in Corsican) and Corsica mourn one of their children, whose life was cut short, and several seriously injured. The time has come for mourning. There will necessarily come that of collective reflection to put an end to this madness”Gilles Simeoni, president of the Corsican community, wrote on Tuesday on X.
“Human life seems paltry compared to weapons”had for his part estimated the mayor of Ajaccio, Stéphane Sbraggia, on X adding: “It is also up to us to fight collectively against these evils which are plaguing our society and threatening our youth. »
“Le Lamparo” was closed for two months by prefectural order in the face of “the repetition of serious criminal acts within a short period of time” but also in the face of “significant risk of recurrence”. The “management of this business constitutes a source of serious disturbance to public order”underlined the prefecture.
On the night of November 15 to 16, the boss of Lamparo was hit by two shots in the leg in front of his establishment, without his life being in danger. A man was remanded in custody for attempted homicide.
