The La Loco establishment, in Quimperlé (Finistère), is offering a Polynesian dance evening for New Year's Eve, December 31, 2024, and to celebrate the transition to the year 2025. Co-manager, Lucy Vintenat details the content of the evening.

What entertainment is offered for this New Year's Eve party?

Three options are possible to end the year in style. First, an all-inclusive evening, with service from 8 p.m. (€60), meal, Polynesian music concert, entertainment, dance show and DJ set for dancing. Then, from 10 p.m., the dance show, Tahitian music and DJ set formula (€25). Finally, from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. (free entry for all) for the DJ set part. For this last part, security agents will be careful not to bring in drunk people, in order to ensure that everyone has a good evening.

How will the meal go?

For the meal, you must book as early as possible and arrive from 7 p.m. The meal includes a starter with chicken and pork caps, cod acras, chicken and pork spring rolls, Tahitian salad (tuna, raw vegetables, coconut milk), and lasary toasts (vegetable pickle). . The dish will be your choice of coconut chicken with saffron rice or egg curry with saffron rice (vegetarian dish). Finally, for dessert, a bowl of fresh exotic fruits. A drink is included: Polynesian punch, with or without alcohol.

Which groups will perform?

The Polynesian group Nahei Tahiti Nui, from a association whose aim is to promote Ori Tahiti and associated dances, will perform twice. First from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., for the second part of the evening, then from 11:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m., for the traditional end-of-year kiss. The group Sunny Legacy will then bring its reggae atmosphere from 12:15 a.m. to 2 a.m. This group from Morbihan revives an ardent music inherited from the golden age of Jamaican music. In addition to these two groups, a DJ will invite the public to dance from 11 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., then from 2:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. (no age limit and free entry for this part, minors must be accompanied) .
