A 26-year-old young man died in a road accident in the town of Saint-Pierre-de-Côle, in Dordogne. His vehicle crashed violently into a tree along the D78.

The driver did not survive the violence of the impact. This Tuesday, December 24 in the evening, around 8:30 p.m., a vehicle crashed into a tree on the D78 departmental road, at the exit of the town of Saint-Pierre-de-Côle in Dordogne. The 26-year-old young man, who was behind the wheel, allegedly lost control of his car. He was alone on board.

Alerted by a witness, firefighters from Thiviers, Brantôme, Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière and Périgueux were dispatched to the scene. Despite their efforts, emergency services were unable to resuscitate the victim who was in cardiac arrest when they arrived. An investigation was opened by the gendarmerie to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy.
