Corsair's EX100U 1TB is identical in every way to the 2TB model we tested. This is undoubtedly one of the best portable SSDs around. It not only offers a very compact design that makes it easy to transport, but also excellent writing and reading speeds. In short, everything you expect from a portable SSD. It just lacks a USB-A adapter for more versatility.

An alternative

The Verbatim Store 'n' Go Alu Slim 1 TB is a good external hard drive with neat finishes. It offers very stable and high speeds, in addition to file backup software. However, we regret a limited cable length which could bother some users.
