Fired from an automatic weapon, these shots broke out shortly after an amateur football match in the sensitive Fontbarlettes district.

According to witnesses, the shooter had hidden his face. The suspect was seen fleeing in a stolen vehicle which was found burned shortly after the incident in another sensitive district: that of Rose des Vents. In total, the police found 9 shell casings from a 5.56mm caliber assault rifle on the ground. An investigation has been opened.

This event is unfortunately not an isolated case. Football coaches are regularly targeted by parents who are furious that their child is not selected or who want revenge for the coaches' attitude. At the beginning of November, the cars of two coaches were set on fire in a football club in Haute-Garonne, near Toulouse. The reason? A father did not appreciate that his son was not selected for a match.
