Emergency services intervened around 11 p.m. to treat a man injured by gunfire, rue Xavier Avril, in the Saint-Joseph de Porterie district, northeast of Nantes.
Hit in the back, his vital prognosis is in jeopardy. The man, known to the police for drug cases, was in his car at the time of the shooting, according to a police source.
“Three impacts were visible on his vehicle at the rear window. Seven shell casings were found on rue du Port la Blanche as well as pieces of bodywork from the attackers’ car.”
A few hours later, around 4:30 a.m., another gunshot wound was treated by emergency services in Saint-Herblain, northwest of Nantes. The man, a minor, was shot in the shoulder. His days are not in danger.
The events took place in the lobby of a hotel. “A weapon was found at the scene along with a telephone.”
