The official lineups for the Coupe de France match between AS Saint-Etienne and Olympique de Marseille have been released. Marseille rotates slightly, Sainté much less.
AS Saint-Étienne are going through a difficult period, having lost six of their last seven Ligue 1 matches. Olivier Dall'Oglio, the ASSE coach until this weekend, was sacked after another defeat against Toulouse FC (2-1). The Greens could approach their next match without a head coach, replaced by an interim. Currently ranked 16th in Ligue 1, they are not favorites, even at home.
For its part, Olympique de Marseille finished the first part of the season in second place in Ligue 1. After a difficult recovery, the Phocéens have found form at home and remain particularly solid away, where they display the best record in Europe with seven victories in eight trips. Their last away success took place… in Saint-Étienne, with a controlled victory at Le Chaudron (0-2).
ASSE starting XI: Maubleu – Appiah, Abdelhamid, Batubinsinka, Pedro, Akwah – Bouchouari, Mouton – Cafaro, Sissoko, Davitashvili
OM starting XI: De Lange – Henry, Murillo, Balerdi, Kondogbia, Merlin – Hojbjerg, Rongier, Rabiot – Greenwood, Upay
