Pool A
At home, Châlons-en-Champagne ended the year by winning three points against the Luxembourgers who did not do poorly. While trailing 3-2 at mid-match, the Tornado tried everything to come back. But the Gauls, leader with 30 points, scored the 4-2 goal 5 seconds from the end of the match, thus sealing the outcome of this match.
Led by Orléans, the Flying French found the fault in the 38th minute through Mans Papaux and came back to 2-1. The Parisians continued their efforts in the final third and managed to turn the match around by winning 4-3. They will thus begin the year 2025 as runner-up to the Gauls, waiting for the slightest misstep from the leader.
Best defense in D2, Reims won 6-0 at home against Wasquehal and achieved its second shutout of the season. By leading 4-0 at mid-match the Phoenix did not give the Lions much hope. Thanks to his double and his two assists in the evening, Éric Lacombe passes Parisian Oleg Kuzmin, and becomes the top scorer in D2 with 36 points.
Manhandled by the Dijonnais in the first 20 minutes, Courbevoie took the lead in the middle third thanks to a double from Atte Peltonen. The number 29 even scored a third goal in the 42nd minute, synonymous with a hat-trick. The Roosters thus return to success (5-2).
Évry-Viry broke its negative series by winning against Rouen 2 thanks to a lead acquired from the start of the match. Tony Stanton Bert Apetagon will have scored a double, thus playing a driving role within his team, giving him plenty of confidence to master his match. 6-3 victory for the locals.

Pool B
La Roche-sur-Yon put in a diligent match against Annecy, who had four wins in the last five matches. Thanks to a double from Aleksandr Mokshantsev, the Hogly took a lead halfway through the match. Predicts that the Knights of the Lake will not be able to come back. The Yonnais won 6-1.
Lyon signs its fourth consecutive victory (9-3) by hitting hard in the first twenty minutes with three goals scored. However, Anglet 2 is full of surprises and comes back to 3-3 at the end of the second third. But Les Gones regained control at the end of the match by scoring six goals, including one from Ranel Vafin, who thus scored a hat-trick. Lyon takes advantage of the result of Toulouse-Blagnac against Roanne to take 3rd place.
In the clash for the podium, it was the Bélougas who won on penalties (4-3). The locals started the match well with a 3-0 in the 21st minute. The Roannais, however, reacted quickly to return to 3-2. The equalizing goal for the Foxes came at the very end of the match, in the 59th minute. On penalties, the Toulouse goalkeeper did not concede a goal and allowed his team to maintain its second place in the standings.
Vaujany-Grenoble distances itself from Valence by signing a 6-4 success on the Lynx ice. With 5 points this evening (including 4 assists), captain Stepan Kolonin will have carried his team, which was trailing 4-3 in the 42nd minute. The Grizzlys had a strong end to the match to return to the Alps with the three points.
Clermont-Ferrand brings down the Montpellier leader with a score of 3-2. Yet trailing at the start of the final third, the Sangliers found the necessary resources to score two goals in quick succession in the 46th and 48th minute, through Santeri Salminen and Yannis Cherkaoui. Beyond offering themselves a high-flying victory, the Clermontois left the red zone and climbed to 7th place. The Vipers maintain their first place but are only one point ahead of the Bélougas.
