Friday December 20, 2024, Elodie Létao, deputy mayor responsible for school education, educational success and school catering and Thierry Marin, National Education inspector went to the Jean Macé nursery school to present to the children a box of Christmas treats.

Traditionally, as the end-of-year holidays approach, the municipality of offers children from public and private schools under contract (Jeanne-d'Arc, Saint-Michel, l'Immaculée, les deux calandretas), a box snacks containing delicious little sweet treats, which will delight little gourmands but also toys for nursery classes and Magic of Christmas tickets. This year, the distribution of snacks began on December 9 and ended this Friday, December 20, in the thirty-seven primary schools in the City. In all, no less than 4,364 children will enjoy (if they haven't already) their Christmas sweets.

For the Kindergarten sections of the City
So that a majority of children can also enjoy the Magic of Christmas, the Municipality, through the Education Department, offered the youngest 1,572 toys, according to the following distribution. For very small sections: 72 units of the Abrick “Super pack farm and tractor” toy, but also 460 units of the “Tecap Color 100 pieces” toy from JeuJura. For medium sections 510 units of the “Computer Genius” toy from VTech, and for large sections 530 units of the “SOS MARMOSHIE” toy from Mattel. In addition, the seven UEMA students from La Prade school were given a different gift suited to them.

For elementary classes
More than 2,800 Magic of Christmas tickets were distributed to elementary school students in the City, so they could enjoy the many activities offered throughout the month of December as a family during the holidays. Boxes of Christmas chocolates were offered to municipal staff working in schools as well as teachers.
