Despite its apparently smooth passage before the National Directorate of Management Control, theAmiens SC has decided to further reduce its payroll but also to bring in cash once again during the 2024-2025 winter transfer window. Thus, in addition to the sale of Mamadou Fofana, boss of central defense, the Picardy club would not be against several additional departures, if the compensation offered by the buyers is deemed sufficient. President of the ASC, Bernard Joannin justifies this strategy by a drastic reduction in the amount of TV rights (from €2.4M to €0.95M) and overall €4M less revenue, excluding transfers obviously.
