A man was found dead in a house located near the sub-prefecture of Palaiseau (Essonne). The events took place this Saturday around 2 a.m. “An investigation has been opened into charges of intentional homicide, attempted intentional homicide, aggravated violence,” indicates the Évry-Courcouronnes public prosecutor’s office. It was entrusted to the Territorial Crime Division of the Interdepartmental Directorate of the National Police. »
The circumstances of the tragedy remain to be clarified. According to the first information collected on site, three men broke down the door of a house while a man was sleeping inside. The latter allegedly received several blows before counterattacking. “The occupant of the premises then grabbed a sword to use against his attackers,” confirms the prosecution.
Alerted, firefighters and a team from Smur (mobile emergency and resuscitation structure) from Longjumeau intervened on site to take care of the injured. But it was already too late for one of the three, aged around 40, who was declared dead on the spot by a doctor from the Longjumeau mobile hospital unit.
The second, aged around 35, was taken to the Kremlin Bicêtre hospital (Val-de-Marne) in serious condition, with a life-threatening prognosis. The third individual, aged around forty, was unhurt. As for the 42-year-old man who occupied the pavilion, he was slightly injured and was taken care of by the national police.
“The perpetrator of the saber slashing and the third individual are in police custody,” informs the prosecution. Investigations are underway to clarify how the events unfolded and the intentions of the various protagonists. An autopsy will be carried out quickly. »
Last Wednesday, another fatal tragedy struck the town of Draveil. Emergency services and law enforcement were called by a dying mother. She had just been very seriously stabbed by her 20-year-old son. She did not survive her injuries.
