As the end-of-year holidays approach, the Prévention Routière association is highlighting the dangers of drinking and driving. Objective: to encourage motorists not to drink or sleep on site.

“If you have a friend over at your house, you will pour him a glass of whiskey for example. So, the bar dose is 3cl. And there, the glass makes three bar doses. If you go and get a second one, there , that's three additional bar doses, or six bar doses in total… And there, it's impossible to get back behind the wheel”, he explains on the microphone of Europe 1.

And we know that at night, 46% of fatal accidents are due to drunk drivers,” insists she said, ensuring that it is therefore essential to encourage drivers not to take the road on Christmas and New Year's Eve, or to designate a Sam.
