During a night animated by mysterious magic, the toys, led by the Nutcracker, engage in a fierce battle against the horrible house mice. Frightened by the events, Clara decides to face her fears and throws herself into battle, managing to save her beloved Nutcracker. He, moved by his courage and filled with gratitude, transforms into Prince Charming and transports Clara to a magical kingdom.
A large ballet in two acts, The Nutcracker was presented to the public for the first time in December 1892 in Saint Petersburg at the Mariinsky Theater. Today, this show undoubtedly remains one of the most performed ballets in the world. The famous music of Tchaikovsky performed by the orchestra, as well as the virtuosity of the dancers, both enhanced by breathtaking sets and costumes, will take young and old on a journey.
