It offers a breathtaking view of Bayonne. From its 45 meters high, the Ferris wheel offers a unique 360-degree panorama of the city. “It's very beautiful, but it's also very scary“, confides a young woman who is still impressed.

Installed in front of the town hall, this giant structure attracts thousands of curious people every year. This 2024 edition, however, marks a notable novelty: the ride has gained 10 meters in height, a first since its arrival nine years ago.

An investment for the city

Each year, the city of Bayonne spends 30,000 euros to host this attraction. A cost offset by benefits in terms of attractiveness and free places offered to local schoolchildren. “

An ideal scale ratio“, comments Yves Ugalde, deputy for culture and entertainment for the city of Bayonne, emphasizing the perfect alignment between the wheel, the cathedral and the town hall.

Tickets are available at 7 euros per person, allowing you to enjoy two distinct atmospheres: the magic of the city lit up at night and the architectural details in broad daylight.

Christmas activities continue until the end of January 2025 in front of the Town Hall.
