Thursday, December 19, the Dijon police carried out two separate operations which led to the seizure of nearly 12,000 euros of drugs in the Grésilles district.
In the common areas of a building
The first intervention took place at 2:30 p.m., Place Galilée. Police officers from the Local Security Group (GSP), during a patrol, discovered in the common areas of a building 174 grams of cannabis, 45 grams of cocaine and 20 grams of heroin.
The market value of this seizure is estimated at around 5,000 euros. An investigation is underway to identifier those responsible.
6,700 euros of market value
Later in the day, at 5:30 p.m., a few hundred meters away, rue Castelnau, police officers from the Specialized Field Brigade (BST) spotted a cache hidden in a bush. This contained 66 grams of cocaine60 grams of heroin and 35 grams of cannabis resin.
This new seizure represents a market value of 6.700 euros. There too, an investigation is in progress.
No arrests but ongoing investigations
No arrests has not been reported. These discoveries come within the framework of regular actions carried out by the police to fight against drug trafficking in the Dijon metropolis. The investigation is continuing to trace the lines involved.
