After a week of strike starting on Monday December 16 2024, the social movement does not weaken. A manifestation is scheduled to port on Saturday December 21.

Physical mobilization

Many Kicéo bus drivers went on strike this week. They are going to take to the streets for a demonstration. The meeting is given at the port esplanade at 10 a.m.

« The procession will make a loop around town via rue Thiers, Place rue Joseph Le Brix, avenue Victor-Hugo, boulevard de la Paix, place de la Libération, rue Hoche and a return to the port via rue Thiers » , unfolds François Tabourot, union delegate (SNTU-CFDT) of the urban transport company Kicéo.

What are the demands?

The strikers demand a rearrangement of travel times to counter recurring delays on several lines. “Lines 4 and 7 pose the most problems. But we want a global revision of the lines,” indicates François Tabourot who would like to present his demands to GMVA president David Robo:

I sent a letter on December 3. It refers to Transdev. Out of respect, I would like our demands to be listened to.

Saturday December 20“between absences due to illness and leave, we will have between 70 and 75% of drivers on strike”, believes François Tabourot. The Kicéo urban network will therefore be very disrupted.

The next negotiations between the different parties will take place on Tuesday and Thursday of next week. The strike notice runs until July 2024.

Good to know. The Mobicéo service is not affected by the social movement.
