As part of the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France, our Trojans largely won against FC Metz (3-0). Author of a double, Renaud Ripart was one of the great architects of this qualification. Cyriaque Irié is the second Trojan scorer. ESTAC is full at the end of 2024 and continues at home, without conceding a goal (3-0). Replacing Nicolas Lemaître in goal, Zacharie Boucher was able to preserve the Trojan cage, thanks to a superb performance!
From the first minutes of this game, the match started at a frantic pace! No round of observation between the two formations, which moved forward with each ball taken. On a long shot from Hein, Boucher made his first save of the game (5'). In the process, Irié created danger on his side, but his back pass did not find a taker (10′). Renaud Ripart opened the scoring for ESTAC, with a nice cross shot from the left (27′, 1-0).
At the break, the Trojans had a small goal lead, which confirmed their good first period.
Back from the locker room, the Messins tried to get back into the game and controlled the ball, but Boucher was once again decisive in front of Hein (56'). The inevitable Irié brought the score to 2-0, with a superb volley (70′, 2-0). So with confidence, the Trojans sealed the fate of this meeting through Ripart. As a surface fox, the Trojan striker scored a double (3-0, 83′).
By winning largely against Metz, ESTAC continues its fine run in the Coupe de France and ends the year 2024 in the most beautiful way! Our Blue and White will be able to enjoy a few days of rest, before tackling 2025!
