Thursday evening, the Gardois de Remoulins were beaten 3-5 by Empire Perpignan in the round of 16 of the Occitanie Futsal Cup.
The Remoulins players, Thursday December 19, held off the Catalans from Empire Perpignan, leaders of Regional 1, but were eliminated from the Occitanie Cup (3-5).
Assisted by Brioua, Khalid Amzil is the first to find the fault (0-1, 10th). On the throw-in, Remoulin, through Dumont-Cantegrel equalizes (1-1, 11th). Aurélien Gras performed wonders in the goals with nine saves and allowed Remoulins, first in Group A of Regional 2, to be level with the Perpignans at the break (1-1).

In the second half, Gras made eleven new saves but that did not prevent Empire 66 from forcing the decision. If the Catalans attack the second act by picking up speed, it is Remoulins Sports Futsal who takes the lead thanks to Dumont-Cantegrel in front (2-1, 32nd).
With two more substitutes, Perpignan got back on track, Khalid Amzil scoring twice (2-2, 38th). The physicality of the Catalans made the difference in the process with three goals signed Wassil Zitou (2-3, 40th), Brioua (2-4, 41st) and, finally, Walid Zitou (2-5, 47th). Dumont-Cantegrel will offer courage a hat-trick at the end (3-5, 50th), not enough to slip into the 8th.
