A 20-year-old man was fatally injured by gunfire on the evening of Tuesday, December 17, in the Bellevue district of Aix-en-Provence, CNEWS learned from reliable sources. The facts took place on a deal point.
According to our information, an individual, described as having his face masked, got out of a vehicle.
As he walked toward another car, the individual pulled out a handgun and opened fire toward the second vehicle.
The 20-year-old man, passenger in the second targeted vehicle, was fatally injured. The driver and the second passenger in the same car were also injured. The three people targeted by the shootings are known for drug trafficking.
The shooter’s group then stole the Opel, before fleeing. On site, investigators found two 9mm caliber cartridge cases. The investigation was entrusted to the organized and specialized crime division (DCOS) of Marseille.
For the moment, there is nothing to say whether this was a premeditated settling of scores or a transaction that went wrong.
