Since October, Maxime Danet has been bringing a touch of novelty to the roads of Morbihan with his food truck, Abbiocco Pizza. Installed in a vintage van from the 80s, this enthusiast treats his customers with Neapolitan pizzas made from fresh, organic products from local farms.
Far from extended menus, Abbiocco Pizza offers a simple but tasty offer. Each month, the menu evolves to offer new pizzas, adapted to seasonal products. In addition to the four carefully created recipes, Maxime also offers the Panuozzo, a delicious hot sandwich made from pizza dough and garnished with gourmet products.
To introduce his pizsas, Maxime travels the roads of Morbihan every week. On Monday, he sets up at the Auray market to entertain passers-by. On Tuesday, his van is in the Risso car park, in the Prat area in Vannes, while on Wednesday he is in the Fenêtre du Golfe car park, in Lann park. On Thursday evening, he stops at the Ferme de Lignol in Arradon, and on Friday lunchtime, he stops his van in front of the Scotto Di Cesare school, in the Laroiseau area of Vannes. On Friday evenings, he is near VanRoad, route du Vincin in Vannes, and on Sunday evenings, it is in front of La Huche à Pain, in Arradon, that he ends his week.
Abbiocco Pizza’s weekly locations are regularly updated on a weekly basis, just check the food truck’s official Facebook page.
The Abbiocco Pizza food truck is not limited to traveling the routes: it can also be privatized for special events, whether birthdays, sporting events, festivals or even corporate evenings.
