It continues its development with the opening of a new agency Gediboislocated in the Actipôle activity zone in Metz (57). Launched in 2008 and integrated into Gedicoopthis brand is dedicated to independent specialists in wood, panels and derivatives.
Ideally located on a plot of 30,000 m22this brand new store accommodates more than 2500 references over 8500m2dont 1500m2 dedicated to the showroom. It is equipped with a cutting workshop with a vertical saw, and has training rooms allowing clients to receive clients, architects and project managers to discuss the solutions to be adopted for their projects. 30 people work daily in this establishment, under the responsibility of Pascal Crossseconded by David Charles. An extension is already planned, as well as the upcoming laying of 11,000m2 photovoltaic panels on the roof.
Gedicoop, the leading group of independent traders in France
Besides Gedibois, the group Gedicoop et Gedex Services run 2 other complementary brands: Gedimatthe leading group of independent traders in construction and DIY materials; And Gedimat ConceptStorespecialized in carpentry on the one hand, and in floors and bathrooms on the other. “We provide our members, independent companies on a human scale, with the means and visibility comparable to those of integrated entities on a national scale,” officials say.
