Noisy-le-Grand, economic capital of the metropolitan east
Noisy-le-Grand today has nearly 70,000 inhabitants spread across 17 historic districts. Its old Briard city center coexists with a regional shopping center and a booming business district. Noisy-le-Grand benefits from a privileged geographical location and living environment with more than 130 hectares of green spaces open to the public, to which are now added the 280 hectares of Saint Martin woods acquired by the City and the Île-de-France region in December 2020.
Bounded to the north by the Marne and to the south by the Bois Saint-Martin, the city is located at the gates of Paris, 20 minutes from the center of the capital by RER A or E. Third business center in the Île-de region -France, Noisy-le-Grand has around 4,000 businesses, including nearly 600 retail businesses. The headquarters of several international companies are located there.
Noisy-le-Grand offers rich and varied educational paths thanks, in particular, to its middle school and its international high school and its proximity to the Gustave Eiffel University (formerly Paris Est Marne-la-Vallée).
