“I wasn’t aware of things. At the time, in my head, it was not forbidden.” The defendant is not very old (22 years old) but he pleads for immaturity at the time of the acts with which he is accused and for which he denounced himself. Namely having conversed, between 2021 and 2022, with minors on the social network Snapchat, sending messages and photos of a sexual nature – “photos of one’s penis” – and requesting tendentious photos in exchange.

“A rare thing: the defendant went directly to the police to say that he had behaved inappropriately towards minors,” the president quickly clarified when recalling the facts. Because several young girls were approached, one being particularly considered a victim after having given in to the defendant’s demands. “She explains that she was the victim of what she considers to be blackmail, understanding that she had to show her breasts. She had important (medical, editor’s note) treatment for further follow-up, so she submitted,” continued the president.

“Not mature”

The defendant explained that he had lost “the notion of things” during an unstable period in his life where he was in bad company and felt lost. Suffering from an attention disorder (ADHD), he explains that he had these bad behaviors when he could not follow his treatment or when he had to stop dancing, which he practices professionally and considers to be his balance.

“In those moments, I thought that all relationships were normal, those with girls my age as well as those with minors. It was a time when I was not mature. Today, I would not do the same thing and I realize the seriousness of the facts. »

He was sentenced to ten months’ imprisonment suspended for two years with provisional execution, obligation of care and ban on contact with the victim.
