The two clubs had already faced each other in this competition, in 2012 and 2023 with victories for the Burgundians each time (4-1, 3-1) including a goal from Trévis Dago, now on loan from Lille to the FCA , who was then playing at Auxerre.
The other Haut-Savoie club in the running, GFA Rumilly Vallières (U18 R1) will host Saint-Priest, also a resident of R1.
