Of the clinical scenarios determined in advancethe volunteers play the role of a patient in consultation : the Faculty of Medicine of Tours (Indre-et-Loire) is launching a volunteer registration campaignto become fictitious patients during a national exam.

No physical contact, it’s a simple question/answer format. This system is particularly important since it is held as part of the practical part of a national exam. for 6th year medical students.

What are the criteria for participating?

Here are the criteria for volunteering:

• be of age : Participants must be at least 18 years old.
• not having a connection with the students evaluated: a charter including a sworn declaration on this subject must be signed.
• not to be a student
• not being a healthcare professionalneither an expert patient: the standardized participants playing the role of a patient (or a parent or a loved one) are people from civil society who are not expert patients, nor practicing health professionals or in training and who are not, as far as possible, professional actors/comedians or in training.
• be available and punctual: be available to mandatory training sessionsand assessment days. for faculty exams, participation in a half-day assessment. For national exams, allow 3 days (May 20 – 21 – 22, 2025) and participate in the information meeting that will be held Tuesday February 4, 2025 – 4 p.m. – Amphi D.
• the various participants are required to sign a confidentiality charter, they undertake not to disclose the elements of the scenarios regarding examinations.
