A serious accident occurred this morning around 8:30 a.m. at the exit of Mouans-Sartoux, on the Grasse-Cannes highway. The incident involved a car and a motorized two-wheeler, requiring a significant mobilization of emergency services.
Seriously injured motorcyclist
The driver of the two-wheeler, a man in his thirties, was seriously injured in the collision. Treated on site by medical teams, he was urgently transported to the Grasse hospital center. His condition required medical treatment upon his transfer.
As for the driver of the car, a man in his fifties, he emerged from the accident unhurt. After the usual findings by the police, he was able to stay on site.
Disturbances and mobilization of relief
The intervention required the deployment of five engines and the mobilization of 13 firefighters, accompanied by the police. A lane of traffic was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to intervene, which caused delays in the area.
