After the naming of the streets in the Descartes sector, a new consultation is launched to name the roads of the multimodal center.
The proposed names concern three access routes.
The theme chosen for this consultation is “Revolutionary women in the world”.
In Vitry, the municipal desire has, for several years, tended towards more names inspired by women in order to rebalance the genders of street names.
This new name is in honor of revolutionary women around the world. From the fight for civil rights to the resistance against oppression, these inspiring figures, often unknown, have left their mark on history with their courage and determination. This approach aims to pay tribute to their heritage, while raising awareness among citizens of the importance of equality and diversity in our streets and our collective memories.
