All vehicles traveling in this north-south direction must currently exit the A 48 at this interchange 10 (Champfeuillet Voiron), but can re-enter the motorway on the same interchange, the accident having occurred between the two straps. However, it is advisable, upstream, to leave the A 48 at interchange No. 9 (Rives) and take the secondary network, as several kilometers of traffic jams have formed on the motorway in the north-south direction upstream of the accident. The truck evacuation response is not expected to be completed for several hours.
