The queue stretches on, seemingly never ending. More than a thousand people came this Wednesday, December 18, 2024 to meet Soprano at the Capucins workshops in Brest on the occasion of the release of his new album, Emancipation. From 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., the singer performs signings. As smiling as she is efficient.
“It’s going fast”
Angelo, 9 years old, and his mother were among the first to arrive, around 12 p.m.! Living in Plourin, they drove two hours to see Soprano. Angelo, wearing a t-shirt and hat bearing the image of his idol, jumps for joy. “He has the potato,” smiles the singer. The young boy was able to exchange a few words with the artist and have his music book signed. Time for one photo and he had to give way to the next one. Hours of waiting for just a few minutes.
“It’s going a little too quickly,” regrets Sabrina, who came with her two teenagers. One of them struggles to contain her tears, moved. “I was harassed at school, I listened to him, he accompanied me. »
In the crowd, children are the majority. Everyone is patient and in good spirits. “It’s worth it,” says Jules, 7 years old. “It’s progressing well”, positive Pascale, in her thirties. Erwan and his two daughters gave up after an hour and a half of waiting: “It’s crazy, I didn’t expect that! ».
Diogenes productions, at the initiative of the dedication, predicted such success: “We knew that Soprano was expected. He really has an audience in Brittany, his concerts are sold out.” No date for the rapper has yet been announced in Brest.
