The teenager killed Tuesday, December 17 in a brawl near a high school in the 13th arrondissement of Paris had been injured the previous week. Investigators are leaning towards premeditated murder.
For more than 24 hours, a suspect has been in police custody, suspected of being involved in the fatal brawl which cost the life of a 16-year-old boy.
