The teenager killed Tuesday, December 17 in a brawl near a high school in the 13th arrondissement of Paris had been injured the previous week. Investigators are leaning towards premeditated murder.
For more than 24 hours, a suspect has been in police custody, suspected of being involved in the fatal brawl which cost the life of a 16-year-old boy. The investigators are moving towards a settling of scores, especially since the victim had already been stabbed the previous week in murky circumstances.
In front of the high school where he attended, his former classmates are moved. In recent years, Paris has been confronted with numerous brawls between gangs with more and more injuries, mainly in certain districts of the capital.
In half of the cases, the people arrested are under the age of 16, and the presence of bladed weapons is noted. What has changed, according to a lawyer, is the anticipation of the attackers. Since the start of the year, 165 people have been arrested in connection with brawls in Paris.
