Since December 17, the company Thermador Groupe, specializing in the distribution of equipment for the circulation of fluids in construction and industry and based in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, has been in exclusive negotiations with the shareholders of the company MMT.

The group is seeking to acquire 100% of the shares of the company C2AI, whose head office is in Décines-Charpieu, by getting its hands on 100% of the shares of MMT, the parent company of C2AI based in Valencin.

Specializing in the development, manufacturing and distribution of fluid control and monitoring equipment and environmental measurements, C2AI employs 45 people in , including 33 who are domiciled in the region.

In 2023, the Decinois company achieved a turnover of 10.3 million euros. According to the press release announcing the acquisition, Gilles Marchand, the founder of C2AI, “would remain general manager of the company to continue the development of the activity and facilitate its integration within Thermador Groupe”.

One more redemption

The group is not its first buyout operation. In 2019, he acquired all the shares of Distrilabo, based in Bas-Rhin, for the sum of 5.2 million euros. It now has several subsidiaries, including Sectoriel, Sferaco and Distrilabo. With the future ownership of C2AI, the signing of the memorandum of understanding could take place before the end of the first half of 2025, Thermador Groupe continues to anchor itself in the Isère market for instrumentation, regulation and control of fluids in industry.
