“Abass was passionate about football”
Contacted by Paris news, Selim Ameyoudhead of the club’s football school, salutes the memory of a “child of the club”, a former player who became an educator in 2024. “He took care of a group of U11s [moins de 11 ans] and was very appreciated by the children,” explains the man who was behind his recruitment. He describes “a discreet, calm and very respectful boy. He was raised with parents who were always vigilant about education.”
The announcement of Abass’ death was a real shock for all members of the Entente Sportive. Faced with this “sad news”, the decision was made to cancel all training for the week.
With this prize pool, the club wishes “support your family in this terrible ordeal” and provide support “in these days of mourning”.
The investigation continues
As a reminder, Abass. D was killed in front of the Rodin high school in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. It was a little after 8:30 a.m. when the authorities learned that a minor, born in October 2008, had been stabbed in the head and was in cardio-respiratory arrest. Despite SAMU resuscitation attempts, the death of the young man from Ivry and schooled in Val-de-Marne was noted at 9:15 a.m.
Initially opened for murder, the investigation was reclassified as assassination, which suggests that the act was premeditated. Another teenager, also aged 16, was arrested but it is still too early to know if he is the author of the fatal stabbings.
