For this Christmas 2024, the three-star chef Alexandre Mazzia and his Italian pastry chef Alessandro worked on a Christmas log in the shape of a double wink and a white lie.

Winks because the cake, called “Ceci n’est pas une log” obviously refers to the pipe of the Belgian surrealist artist René Magritte. But it also echoes the Congolese childhood of Alexandre Mazzia, who lived in Pointe-Noire until he was 14. He also subtitled his creation mayoki“feeling” in Lingala.

A white lie, finally, because it is indeed a log in question, hazelnut and pistachio praline, dark chocolate, ginger, mandarin vinegar, feuillantines and roasted white chocolate.

The incredible aesthetic of this 2-3 portion log offered at €25 at the Michel food truck by AM this Friday December 20 and Saturday December 21 at lunch combines with an equally stunning taste pleasure, both powerful in the mouth but which does not is not scattered into ten aromas and remains focused on its pralinesque message.

On this last opening weekend of December, the Mazzia food truck also offers a gourmet program around free-range chicken: smoked Viennese bread sandwich, crispy poultry and jalapeño (€14.50), bucket of tenders with chili-ginger sauce ( €9.50), fries with spicy gel (€6)…

Michel by AM, 16 rue François-Rocca, Marseille 8th. Service from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
