Tomorrow, when Macron flies to Mayotte, will Bayrou take a Republic jet back to Pau and add a new discordant note to his Matignonesque fanfare debut? Because the Prime Minister must lead a community council on Thursday, December 19, he who is also president of the Pau Béarn Pyrénées urban community. The first three items of the agenda published on December 13 indicate “the cases presented by Mr. President”. Asked about Bayrou’s presence in his city on this occasion, his entourage did not respond to our requests.
If he were to chair this council, in the name of the accumulation that he now cherishes and defends, the Prime Minister risks having a new welcome as chilly as the start of a Pyrenean winter. “I think the two missions are incompatible.
