At the entrance to the pedestrianized rue des Maréchaux, also known as rue Gourmande, a beige facade, overlooked by decorative elements and twinkling lights. Amandine, the bubbly manager of the restaurant Little Louis accompanied all stages of the opening of the establishment alongside chef Mathieu Ehrenbogen, but also Elyas, Florian, Valentin and Dorian.
Since October 14, 2024, this young, passionate and motivated team has been offering a unique experience combining know-how, fresh products and conviviality around authentic and creative cuisine. The DNA of the restaurant? 100% homemade cuisine, prepared with fresh, seasonal products.
Everything has been thought of to combine a cozy place with conviviality. With its careful decoration, its warm materials, wood, old stone and its subdued lighting, the restaurant room spread over two levels invites relaxation and pleasure. From the room, you can also take a look at the kitchen open to the restaurant room.
On the Petit Louis menu? Gastronomy enthusiasts will find refined dishes, dishes to share, starters, hot and cold dishes and several desserts to awaken the senses. The plates are as tempting as they are generous, combining the pleasure of the taste buds and the eyes between traditions and original flavors, for all dietary restrictions. The menu also changes with the seasons to adapt to the fresh produce of the moment.
The restaurant concocts several typical dishes with duck breast, veal escalope, pulled pork cooked for eight hours, but also fish dishes based on seafood, prawns or fish “depending on arrival”.
A staging that does not forget local products and vegetables made attractive, butternut, carrot, pumpkin enhanced by a few edible flowers and the rediscovery of dishes such as homemade butter.
On the plate, the proportions are delicious, generous and colorful. The strength of the team? Good communication and the creative drive of the chefs.
“We try to convey deliciousness in our plates, the philosophy is that we feel at home, that we eat well, that we laugh, that we enjoy“, concludes Amandine. A successful bet for this beautiful Nancy address!
