CAF confirms the organization of the CAN (M) 25, CAN U17 and CAN (F) draws in Morocco in 2025

Monday, 16/12/2024, a meeting of the CAF Executive Committee was held in Marrakech.

The president of the African body, Dr. Motsepé, at the opening of the debates, reiterated his congratulations to Morocco following the decision to award the 2030 FIFA World Cup to the joint candidacy: Morocco-Portugal-Spain.

The CAF press release following this meeting specifies:
” The draw for the final phase of the Total Energies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025, will be held in Rabat, Morocco, on January 27, 2025.

He also announces a series of key dates:

• CAN U17 Morocco 2025: the opening match will be played on Sunday March 30, 2025; the final will be played on Saturday April 19, 2025
• CAN U-20 Ivory Coast 2025: the opening match will be played on Saturday April 26, 2025; the final will take place on Sunday May 18, 2025
• The 2024-25 CAF Cup: the first leg final will take place on Saturday May 17, 2025; the return final will be played on Sunday May 25, 2025
• The 2024-25 Champions League: the first leg final will take place on Saturday May 24, 2025; the return final will take place on Sunday June 1, 2025
• The 2025 Women’s Champions League: the opening match will take place on Saturday November 8, 2025; the final will be played on Sunday November 23, 2025
• CAN(H) Morocco 2025: the opening match will take place on Sunday December 21, 2025; The final will take place on Sunday January 18, 2026.
