The record will be shattered! On November 29, the Arras Christmas market, in Pas-de-Calais, opened its doors to the public. The days pass and the number of curious people who come to admire it continues to increase. The city has just announced that the milestone of one million visitors had already been reached!
Towards a new attendance record?
“The Christmas market in the town of Arras has just reached a new milestone: since its opening on November 29, more than a million visitors have already set foot on the cobblestones of Arras and taken advantage of the 140 chalets and activities of this 35th edition” , rejoices the municipality in a press release.
The success is there and it’s not over… The Arras Christmas market will close its doors on Sunday December 29, so there are still a few days left to break the attendance record, all with one less operating week compared to 2023.
“Last year’s record, 1,070,000 visitors from November 24 to December 30, will therefore be largely exceeded,” assures the city. The organizers of the event were targeting 1,150,000 million visitors for this year, their objective should be met!
