There is a change within the opposition in the municipal council.

The opposition group “Les Annéciens” no longer officially exists since Monday evening, the date of the last council.

Denis Duperthuy slams the door

The dissolution of the group is the logical continuation of the decision of one of its 3 members: Denis Duperthuy. He explains that he left his movement two weeks ago amid disagreements over the place given to members in recent actions. The elected official denounces behavior which is “not in line with [sa] vision of the collective, respect and sincerity as enshrined in the charter of values”. He also speaks of recurring tensions between elected officials.

Claire Lepan is also leaving

Same decision for Claire Le Pan, also elected from the opposition. “My political experience has taught me that forced collaborations generate suffering and do not make anyone grow,” explains the woman who was President of the group.

Antoine Grange regrets this decision

These two departures out of the 3 elected members of the “Les Annéciens” group therefore mechanically lead to its disappearance. The third elected member of the group, Antoine Grange, said he regretted this decision which “will weaken the impact of the ideas of Annecy residents”.

All 3 will now be in opposition among the “non-registered”.
