La Halle Vacheresse went into “ping” mode. After the last basketball training sessions, this Monday evening, December 16, table tennis took possession of the premises for 24 hours.

The rental of the equipment was also granted free of charge by Roannais Agglomération. That’s a saving of 2,200 euros for this club with few resources.

“If there were 10,000 places at Vacheresse, they would all have been sold.”

The room will be packed this Tuesday evening for the sporting event of the year in Roannais: the arrival of the Lebrun brothers, superstars of world sport since their performances at the Olympics this summer. They come here as part of a French Pro A championship match, pitting their team from the Alliance Nîmes against that of the LNTT.

The Vacheresse cube will be used this Tuesday evening.

Entrance tickets for this one were snapped up as soon as they went on sale. If the start of the games is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., it is strongly recommended to arrive well in advance (seating is free), with doors opening two hours before the first match.
