A ten activists visited the Orange agency in Bayonne this Tuesday, December 17, 2024 to “denounce the abusive practices of the multinational”. Activists denounce the situation of a user visually impaired whose French telecommunications company opened “unfairly” three contracts.
Visual and sound action
Inside and outside, activists made themselves heard in Bayonne to defend, Francine who is visually impaired to whom Orange “unfairly” billed three contracts instead of just one.
This is not the first time that Alda has caught a telephone operator red-handed. Once again we are witnessing an unfair practice on the part of a multinational
Alda criticizes the multinational for a “site inaccessible to the visually impaired” and speaks of “ obstacle course » in order to take steps to terminate Francine’s contracts.
The association requests reimbursement of overpayments by Orange, i.e. more than 750 euros. Signs on the front of the store, parodied music, occupation of the premises, the activists want Francine to get her money back as quickly as possible.
Happy ending
Finally the regional director of the agency arrived on the scene and, after confirmation from Orange management and faced with the determination of Alda activists, the group’s press officer announced that Francine would be fully refunded as soon as possibleand thatall of its invoices will be accessible in braille.
