The Paris commercial court declared the judicial liquidation of the Cafés Legal brand this Tuesday, December 17, 2024, the coffee brand confirmed in a press release.

The brand was bought in 2022 by businessman Michel Ohayon, who then resold it. It was placed in receivership on October 8, pending a possible buyout.

This judicial liquidation marks the end of a 170-year French entrepreneurial adventure, forming an integral part of the industrial heritage of France and the city of Le Havre.
