A settling of scores in preparation against a backdrop of rivalries between gangs. This is the context of the investigation carried out by the police and the courts around the Jean-Rostand college in Draguignan.
“An investigation is underway into acts of intrusion of weapons into the grounds of a school, committed during a meeting, and repeated death threats”reports, Tuesday December 17, 2024, the prosecution of the Draguignan judicial court.
A response to a fight
It all started about ten days ago. At the end of class, a violent brawl broke out between two rival gangs in front of the Jean-Rostand college. A few days later, Monday December 9, 2024, several students from the school came to class with blades, brass knuckles and other objects with a view to settling scores with the same rival gang, at the end of the day.
The students concerned bragged about it a little too loudly… The educational community then got wind of it and called the National Police. This came shortly before the time of the settling of scores. The police seized the items in question. According to our information, several students are the subject of disciplinary proceedings with a view to possible exclusion from college.
